Pleasant Ridge Middle School , Stillwell , KS- observation 1

This was my first observation that had the opportunity to participate in. I got to go to a seventh grade classroom in pleasant ridge middle school. The first observation was the opposite type of classroom was wanted to be placed in so it was very difficult to sit through but I did learn a lot.

Mission Trail Elementary , Leawood , KS - observation 2

This was my second observation that I participated in. I had the opportunity to go to a second grade class and watch the teacher and see how she handled some of the more difficult kids. During this observation I also had the opportunity to help teach the class and act as a student teacher. I usually got there when Ms. Zima ( the teacher that i was observing) was going to teach the math lesson to i got to teach the kids their money unit and their measurement unit.

Experience:

Cub Creek Animal Science Camp, Rolla, MO - Asit ( animal specialist in training)

I was an ASIT for 3 summers
This unpaid internship made me into a leader
While working at CCSC I had to get up early and teach kids and take care of a bunch of animals.
I had to know feeding schedules of different animals and guide students on how to take care of their “ adopted” animals.
