As a future educator I have figured out that I lean towards Progressivism. Progressivists believe that education focuses on the whole child. This philosophy of education stresses that students should test ideas by experimentation. I also believe that learning should be centered on the child’s interests and what they want to pursue at that time. I believe that doing this will make the students more knowledgeable in the areas that they are very passionate about. I believe this also encourages them to grow and  learn more.

Teaching is like gardening. When you are planning to plant a garden you have to take time to think about what will thrive in the environment that you provide And what changes you can make to make every plant grow to its full potential. While teaching students you need to think of everyone and how you can cater the class to that individual while making sure everyone is thriving.
